DECADES OF DEPENDABILITY
This year’s Glastonbury Festival wasn’t just about music, it was a celebration of British heritage, craftsmanship, and enduring capability. At the heart of it all stood a true icon: Classic Defender V8 Soft Top, proudly presented by JLR Classic.
As the official vehicle partner of Glastonbury for the third consecutive year, Defender once again played a vital role in supporting the festival’s operations across its 900 acre site. But this year, it was V8 Soft Top that captured the attention of festival-goers and automotive enthusiasts alike.

LAND ROVER CLASSIC AT GLASTONBURY
A Modern Classic with a Legendary Spirit
“As Glastonbury’s Official Vehicle Partner for the third year running, we’re proud to continue to support such an iconic British festival that celebrates adventure, exceptional experiences and the spirit of music – values which are at the heart of the Defender community” said Mark Cameron, Managing Director for Defender.
The Defender’s connection to Glastonbury runs deep. A Land Rover Series IIA was present at the very first festival in 1970, and the Eavis family, organisers of the event since its humble beginnings, have long relied on Defender’s rugged dependability. Their bright red Defender 90 remains a familiar sight to regular attendees.

Explore the Legacy
This year, V8 Soft Top carried a legacy forward, blending classic design with modern performance. Whether navigating muddy tracks or parked proudly near the Pyramid Stage, it stood as a symbol of Land Rover’s enduring role in British culture – much appreciated by VIP guests of the Defender camp.
The V8 Soft Top is more than just a vehicle, it is a tribute to the past and a celebration of what’s possible when heritage meets innovation. Its presence at Glastonbury 2025 is a reminder that while music evolves and generations change, some icons remain timeless.
